Yesterday I took a drive out to Queen Mary Falls which lies just east of Kilarney on the Queensland/New South Wales border. My thermometer hit 39.5 degrees celsius on the way there, so it was a stinker. There was plenty of water flowing over the falls and the landscape was very scenic after the recent rains. It's a great day trip for anyone living in Brisbane and the surrounds. Next time I'll remember to take my bigger lens for all the birds that I saw!
