About Russell Hunter

I am a photographer of nature and wildlife, originally from South Africa and living in Brisbane, Australia. Although my portfolio spans the southern hemisphere, many of the images appearing on this website have been captured just a few kilometers from my home.

I favor a natural, through the lens photographic style, utilizing medium format cameras for a majority of my work. I am passionate about conservation and the natural world and Signed by Nature Studios is my medium for showcasing nature in all its beauty, in both colour and black and white.

You can find more of my work on Instagram (@signedbynaturestudios) and I update this site regularly with news, stories and tips. You can also get in touch with me by the contact page.
