I took a quick trip north along the coast on Saturday to visit Serenity Falls on the Sunshine Coast. After recent rain, I figured the falls would be flowing nicely.
The trip was well worth the effort. Despite being quite busy with swimmers and day visitors, the falls emptied out around dusk, leaving the amphitheater empty during the blue hour when the contrast between the light penetrating the canopy and forest floor was at its the lowest. I say empty but for the mosquitos left behind....
The image shown above is one of several images taken during the shoot. It is a 4:3 focus stack of four images taken using a medium format Fujifilm GFX50R combined with a wide angle 20-35mm lens. I hope you like it. More images from the shoot will start making their way into my various feeds over the next couple of days.
Cheers,
Russell
